Tapex Group

A Corporate Site Built to Show the Whole Group

Tapex Group owns five operating companies across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The Rossi family has run the business since 1957. Its website ran to four pages and a set of brand logos. Maisona delivered a corporate website redesign built to carry the scale, history and ambition of the group.

Results

Built for the audiences that decide the group's future

Investors, acquisition targets and candidates all research Tapex Group before they make contact. Most form their view from the website alone. The site now shows the markets the group works in and the people running it. It also shows the products Tapex has developed since 1957.

Enterprise Value

One group, with many brands across infrastructure, horticulture, utilities and packaging

Company Culture

Careers and culture content built and displayed for teams in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom

R & D

Product development history documented, from synthetic flat strapping in 1957 to detectable warning tape

Solution

One enterprise narrative, five operating brands

We wrote a positioning statement for the homepage that connects every division to one purpose. The site structure sits underneath it. Industries, brands, leadership, sustainability and careers each hold their own section. A visitor can see what the group owns, where it operates and how it is run.

Process

From audit to launch

We reviewed the existing group site and the group LinkedIn page. Then we documented what a visitor could and could not learn. Brand ownership was clear, though corporate story, scale, strategy, leadership, markets and employer value proposition were all missing. That gap left visitors reading Tapex Group as a collection of small businesses. We rebuilt the sitemap around four priorities. A clear enterprise narrative to establish credibility. Structured brand pages for customers and partners. Culture and careers to attract talent. One consistent brand experience across every page. Positioning and audience mapping shaped the page structure before any design work began.

Tapex held an archive of historical images that the previous site never used. We built the story pages around it. The timeline now runs ten milestones. It opens with an 1881 Villa and Rossi storefront. In between sit the Southern Hemisphere’s first polypropylene extrusion in 1962 and the Kinnears acquisition in 2002. It closes on the 2023 purchases of Elite Tunnels in the UK and Redpath in Australia. Each milestone carries an image from the archive, which gives the history page evidence rather than adjectives.

Media & Websites

A site the internal team can run

We built on WordPress with Elementor. The structure leaves room for investor material, more operating companies and a news feed as the portfolio grows. Marketing can add news, roles and milestones without booking developer time.

Every section holds up at mobile width, including the timeline, the brand cards and the industry pages.
